Jiang Dong,Dance Discipline PhD, Distinguished Professor of Changxin International College of Art, Yunnan University. Deputy Director, Research Fellow and Doctoral Tutor of Dance Research Institute of China Academy of Art. Research directions: the study of the development history of modern and contemporary Chinese dance, the comparative study of Chinese and foreign dance culture, and the study of non-heritage conventions. China's only International Instructor of the Convention on the Non-Heritage Sites.


In 1991, he obtained a master's degree from the China Academy of Art. Instructor: Guo Mingda.

In 1994, he went to India to study Indian dance culture as a visiting scholar.

In 1997, he attended the "International National Dance Biennial Conference" held in the Czech Republic.

From 2000 to 2003, he served as the second secretary (diplomatic officer) of the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria Culture Department.

In 2004, he was selected by the Ministry of Culture as the keynote speaker to represent China at the International Symposium on World Cultural Diversity held in Vietnam.

In 2008, he received a doctorate from the Graduate School of the China Academy of Art. Instructor: Wang Kefen.

In 2010, he was awarded the International Instructor Certificate of the Intangible Convention issued by UNESCO and is the only winner in China.

Co-authored works: Picture of World Dance, Development History of Modern and Contemporary Dance in China, Chinese Dance History, Appreciation of Chinese Excellent Dance Works, etc. More than one million words of professional articles have been published.

A comprehensive survey of world dance culture has covered more than 40 countries on five continents, such as India, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Nigeria, Hong Kong, Macao and other countries and regions.
